Students are introduced to airport layout and operations, ground and aircraft handling, ramp safety and security. Passenger-service learning includes check-in, baggage handling, visa processes, aircraft types and transit or terminating service formalities.
The syllabus therefore combines travel agency work, airline reservation knowledge, airport awareness and customer communication rather than focusing only on tourism theory.
